There's still no sign of David Morgan -- the North Carolina man who pointed a gun at a Geneseo police officer during a traffic stop -- then ran into a field -- on Wednesday.
Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty says Morgan has not been seen since running into that field, and may be desperate.
Police today are doing roving patrols, and looking near the Genesee River -- where someone might go to avoid police dogs.
The investigation shows so far that Morgan did not fire his gun, but the officer fired one round.
Morgan's girlfriend, Sandra Brown, is accused of pointing her cell phone like a gun during the encounter Wednesday and is in custody on menancing and obstruction charges.
