More Information Released Following Livingston Co. Plane Crash

Authorities are saying more about the plane crash in Livingston County on Friday. 

The Sheriff's Office says the Cessna C-182 was being piloted for the Civil Air Patrol by Timothy Sheffer of Rush. Two cadets, ages 14 and 15, were flying with him. 

The plane had trouble as it took off from the Geneseo airport. It crashed upside down in a field, not far from the runway. 

Sheffer is still hospitalized with a broken back. The cadets had minor injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
