Billy Joel to Play 100th Show Tonight at NYC's Madison Square Garden

Billy Joel is being honored for performing his 100th show at New York City's Madison Square Garden.  

Governor Andrew Cuomo declared July 18th Billy Joel Day, and said the iconic entertainer remains popular in the world's toughest market by being true to who he is. 

The Bronx born and Long Island raised "Piano Man" said as a New Yorker the place he always wanted to play was MSG, and called it an international venue.  Chairman James Dolan presented Joel with a classic Steinway & Sons piano, which will stand in the entrance to MSG as a tribute to Joel's accomplishment.
