Orleans County Teenager Accused of Trying to Murder Grandmother

An Orleans County teenager is accused of trying to kill his grandmother. Brandon Foster, 17, is charged with attempted murder, burglary, assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and petit larceny. According to Orleans County Sheriff's deputies, Foster went to his grandmother's home on Oak Orchard Road, climbed up a chair behind the house and climbed in through a window. Investigators said Foster went into his grandmother's bedroom and attacked her with a knife while she was sleeping. The grandmother eventually broke free and drove to a hospital in Medina where she was taken to the Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight. She is in serious but stable condition. Foster is being held in the Orleans County Jail.
