The race for the Democratic nomination in the 23rd Congressional District is over.
Tracy Mitrano will face Republican incumbent Congressman Tom Reed in November. Mitrano's opponent, Max Della Pia conceded the race, even though the results of absentee ballot counts have not been verified.
That process is expected to finish today. The district spans the southern tier and includes the eastern portion of Ontario County,
