Police: 3 Charged in Abduction of Woman in MCC Brighton Parking Lot

UPDATED: Three people are facing kidnapping charges for allegedly abducting a woman they knew when she was leaving the MCC campus in Brighton.

Police say the student was in the parking lot Wednesday when she was forced into a car and taken against her will to a motel in Gates, where she was assaulted. She needed treatment at Strong.

And police say the grand jury may bring additional charges. All three suspects are from Phoenix, Arizona -- 23-year-old Andy Nano, 20-year-old Mohammed Al-Harbi and a 17-year-old.

Gates Police say they have filed a warrant for additional charges against Andy Nano, including first degree criminal sexual act, first degree sexual abuse and first degree rape. Police say the charges are in relation to the kidnapping that started at MCC and continued into Gates.

Bail for all three was set at $100,000.
