Fujifilm Taking Xerox to Court Over Failed Merger Deal

Fujifilm is taking Xerox to court over the failed merger deal.

The lawsuit claims Xerox breached the agreement and claims Fujifilm's shareholders are entitled to the deal that was announced in January. Xerox backed out after activist investors Carl Icahn and Darwin Deason won a preliminary injunction to block the deal, and their allies took control of the company.

Xerox claimed it was within its rights to end the merger because Fujifilm didn't provide timely financial data.
