A Rochester man could spend the next 25 years to life in prison for killing his girlfriend. A jury found Terry Williams, 51, guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Cheryl Robinson. Williams was also found guilty of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Williams went to Robinson's apartment sometime around July 14, 2017, shoved a towel in her mouth, bound her hands and ankles, and wrapped a gag around her mouth, head and feet. Prosecutors say he left her there for weeks, causing her to die by asphyxiation. He used Robinson's "Quest" food benefits card on July 21 to purchase food for himself.
