Rochester Housing Authority Getting $4.8 Million in Federal Funding

Public housing agencies in Upstate New York will share more than $67 million in federal funding. 

The money will be used for public housing development and improvement projects. The projects can include redesigning re-configuring public housing sites and buildings; addressing safety code compliance needs; and replacing obsolete utility systems.

The Rochester Housing Authority is getting $4.8 million. The Batavia Housing Authority will get $341,000 and the Geneva Housing Authority will get $432,000.
