A federal mediator has proposed a settlement that could end the labor dispute at Rochester's Jordan Health Center.
The union negotiators like the proposal, but Jordan's Board of Directors hasn't taken a position. Roughly 65 health care workers at Jordan have been without a contract since the end of last year.
The union says it will stage a three-day walkout in June if there is no deal. They staged a one-day walkout earlier this month. According to the union, the settlement would give Jordan financial relief this year while maintaining health benefits and granting modest raises in 2019 and 2020.
