Communities Across NYS Receiving Funding to Fight Violent Crime

Communities around the state are getting some much welcomed funding to fight violent crime.  

Governor Cuomo says more than 17-million-dollars will continue funding anti-gun violence and street outreach initiatives.  He claims the initiatives have led to statewide drops in gun deaths and shootings. 

The Rochester police department will receive some of the funding.
