Documents Shed More Light on FBI Raid at Headquarters of Local Developer

Documents are shedding more light on the FBI raid Monday at the local headquarters of developer Robert Morgan.

A search warrant affidavit indicates the FBI is investigating Morgan's son, Todd, and nephew, Kevin, for possible wire and bank fraud. The FBI believes they may have misled appraisers to inflate the value of properties in Pennsylvania owned by Morgan's companies.

The documents allege Todd and Kevin Morgan -- along with representatives of mortgage broker Aurora Capital -- gave false information to potential lenders In one inspection in 2015. They allegedly tried to make vacant apartments appear occupied by leaving shoes outside the doors and playing radios inside.
