School Budgets Up for Vote Today in Rochester Suburbs

School budgets are up for a vote today in the Rochester suburbs.

None of the local districts are looking to exceed the state's cap on property tax increases above two percent.

School districts in Monroe County will be sharing $36 million in additional state aid in the new school year. Voters will also be electing new school board members and voting on proposals to borrow money for building repairs and renovations.

Meantime, the Rochester school board meets this evening at 5:30 to formally approve the city school district budget.
