Children's Center Worker Charged With Abusing Patient

A Rochester man working as a youth care professional at Hillside Children's Center has been charged with abusing a person in his care.

The New York State Justice Center says Rochester Police charged 27-year-old Henry Taylor Jr. with criminal obstruction of breathing and harassment after he allegedly grabbed a Hillside resident by the neck, pushed the victim down on a bed and squeezed the victim's neck with his hands. The victim was treated for abrasions to the neck.

The incident was reported to the Justice Center's hotline, and the center called in the police.

Taylor is currently free on bail and due to appear in court on June 6th. He's been fired by Hillside officials.
