New York State Police and federal agents have arrested a Greece man in connection with the burglary of a Southern Tier gun store. They're also searching for two other suspects seen in surveillance camera footage, and are asking for the public's help as they try to find them.
Thirty-one-year-old Michael Argento is charged with second-degree burglary after 18 guns were stolen from the Shongo General Store in Willing, which is near Wellsville in Allegany County. The guns were stolen just over a month ago, allegedly by Argento and at least one other man who forced their way into the store and stole 13 long guns and five handguns.
Troopers arrested Argento after serving search warrants at his home in Greece and his summer home in Willing. He's being held on $100,000 bail. They say two additional men seen on surveillance video from a Pennsylvania gas station may also been involved and are being sought:
