Two Arrested Following Raid at 'Mr. Deals' Pawn Shop in Brighton

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says a six-month investigation ended Tuesday with a raid at a Brighton pawn shop, and the recovery of hundreds of thousands of dollars in stolen property.

Investigators armed with a warrant searched "Mr. Deals" on West Henrietta Road, confiscating stolen merchandise still in its original boxes and worth as much as $300,000. Items recovered included electronics, tools, pet supplies and over the counter meds.

Deputies arrested the owner, 29-year-old Marcus Luciano of Greece, and store manager John Lombardo, also from Greece.

Charges against them include possession of stolen property, felony, falsifying business records and numerous infractions of county pawn broker laws.
