Xerox and Fujifilm Holdings are holding talks to renegotiate their takeover deal...according to their lawyers. Both lawyers said as much during a court hearing.
The $6 billion merger of Xerox and Fuji is opposed by a group of prominent shareholders including Darwin Deason, who is suing in New York State courts saying the deal undervalues Xerox and gives too much to Fuji. Deason and fellow investor Carl Icahn have been fighting the deal.
While the two sides are talking, it's not clear if they'll reach a new deal.
