Judge Leticia Astacio Receives Pay Raise

Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio has received a pay raise.  The raise went into effect April 1. It was enacted by a state commission on judicial compensation in 2015. City court judges across New York state are receiving the raise. This is the final of four installments agreed upon for all judges working in New York.  According to the Democrat and Chronicle, Chief Administrative Judge Craig Doran confirmed Monday that Astacio is still not showing up for work as directed. Astacio was charged with DWI in February 2016 after she was involved in a car accident on Rt. 490. She was sentenced to 60 days in jail, three years probation, and six months with an alcohol ankle monitor in July 2017.
