Bill Gray's to Locate at Port of Rochester

Bill Gray’s is planning to open a restaurant at the Port of Rochester, going into the former ferry terminal building to occupy the space last used by Mom’s Margios Diner, and previously Cheeburger Cheeburger.

Bill Gray’s will invest more than a million dollars in overhauling the space on the river side of the terminal building, expanding the dining area into what is now the mezzanine. The Bill Gray’s plan is included in legislation sent by Mayor Lovely Warren to City Council for approval this month. The deal sets a five year lease with Bill Gray’s for use of the terminal space.

The restaurant can hope to draw customers from the new marina at the port, which has rented out all its seasonal slips to boaters for the first time this year.
