Proposed RCSD Budget for Next School Year to be Unveiled

Rochester City School Superintendent Barbara Deane-Williams will unveil her proposed budget for the next school year at a school board meeting tonight.

In a presentation last month, district officials said rising costs for staff and debt service would create a projected $65 million deficit. It's the biggest deficit in seven years. The meeting is set for 6 p.m. at the Central Office Building on West Broad Street.
