Funeral arrangements have been announced for Congresswoman Louise Slaughter.
She passed away early Friday morning at a Washington D.C. hospital surrounded by family after being hospitalized for a concussion following a fall at her D.C. home.
Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, March 21st from 2pm-7pm and Thursday, March 22nd from 4pm-8pm at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services at 3325 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY.
Her funeral will be held on Friday morning, March 23rd, at 11 o’clock at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, and will be open to the public.
In lieu of flowers, the Slaughter family requests the public consider a memorial contribution to The Louise & Bob Slaughter Foundation. The new foundation will support the causes and communities that were important to the late congresswoman and her husband.
