A Steuben County woman is charged with raping a child. Kirsten Herrneckar, 25, is charged with felony rape 3rd, felony criminal sexual act 3rd, and endangering the welfare of a child. Herrneckar, of Hornell, was arrested Tuesday after an investigation by the Steuben County Sheriff's Office. Herrneckar is accused of engaging in "sexual intercourse and oral sexual conduct" with a person under the age of 17. This allegedly happened on Snell Hill Road in Bath. She is scheduled to be back in Bath Town Court on March 14, 2018.
