Gov. Cuomo Trying to Help Low-Income Kids get Flu Shot

Governor Cuomo is trying to help low-income kids get the flu shot.

Yesterday he proposed legislation that encourages pharmacists to enroll in the state's vaccine for children program. If passed, those older than two-years-old and younger than 19 -- who meet certain criteria -- would be eligible for a free flu shot.

The state's commissioner of health says more folks are taking this flu season seriously this year and getting the shot.
