Residents of East Rochester are mourning former mayor Dave Bonacchi. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor last summer and died Sunday at age 62. Bonacchi was most recently a town judge and also served as a police sergeant during his long career in public service. He was also the 1994 state amateur golf champion. He is survived by his wife, Roseanne, three sons and two grandchildren.
