The former owner of the former Medley Centre mall is settling an unpaid tax bill.
Bersin Properties has agreed to pay a total of $1.4 million to the Town of Irondequoit and the East Irondequoit School District.
Town Supervisor David Seeley calls the settlement "sufficient compensation to the taxpayers of Irondequoit." He says the town will use its share of the settlement to pay for construction of the new town community center inside the former Mall -- now called Skyview on The Ridge.
