Rochester Man Sentenced For Fatal Stabbings of Estranged Wife and Daughter

A Rochester man convicted in the fatal stabbings of his estranged wife and daughter last year insists he was a victim of prejudice by the judge, lawyers and jury.

At his sentencing today Patrick Brooks said he didn't commit the crimes and says there was video evidence that would have proved he wasn't at the scene.

Brooks was found guilty of second-degree murder in the fatal stabbings of Christie and Victoria Brooks at their home on Wellington Avenue. Both women were stabbed dozens of times.

Brooks was sentenced to two consecutive prison terms of 25-years to life.
