Rochester Man Sentenced After Being Found Guilty of Possessing Firearm

Federal Prosecutors say a 36-year-old Rochester man who was found guilty of possessing a firearm while committing a drug trafficking crime has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Allan Watson was caught after he crashed his SUV near the corner of Hollenbeck Street and Belfour Drive in July of 2016. 

Police found a 9 millimeter pistol, crack cocaine and heroin packaged for sale when they searched his vehicle. He was apprehended after a struggle with police.
