Rochester Man Pleads Guilty to Beating, Strangling Woman

A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to beating and fatally strangling a woman.  Erick Figueroa pleaded guilty yesterday to second-degree murder for the death of Catherine Everdyke one year ago. Her body was found at a house on Wolff Street, wrapped in blankets with apparent blunt force trauma.  Figueroa is expected to be sentenced in December to 20 years to life in prison.
