The Town of Irondequoit holds a second public information meeting Tuesday evening for a discussion of five possible options developed for a year-round bridge over the Irondequoit Bay Outlet.
It's at 7:00 p.m. at the Irondequoit Town Hall. The outlet is currently spanned by a moveable bridge that swings into position in the winter for vehicle traffic, but swings open in the spring leaving the outlet free for boat traffic.
The options identified by a study over the summer are: proposed ramps off of Route 104 onto 590; a swing bridge that opens when larger boats need to pass; a conventional bridge; or keep the bridge as is.
They want to know what you think before they begin trying to pick one.
