Traffic Index Report: Rochester Ranks 174th on List of 400 Cities

Drivers in the Rochester area spend an average of more than two days a year stuck in traffic.

GPS maker TomTom recently ranked traffic in 400 cities on six continents and Rochester ranked 174th in the world for 2016.

The traffic index says the average Rochester driver spends an extra 15 minutes behind the wheel every day dealing with congestion.

That adds up to about 57 hours a year -- but New York City drivers face more than twice that.
