University of Rochester president Joel Seligman has issued a statement urging against drawing conclusions about a story published online by Mother Jones magazine.The story involves sexual harassment and discrimination allegations against a colleague in the U of R faculty -- and the subsequent University investigation last year that found no evidence of violations of University policy. Another investigation found no evidence supporting claims of retaliation against the professors who made the allegations.The online story says the professors filed an EEOC complaint this past week. Seligman says the university has done nothing wrong, and says the narrative of the complaint does not tell the whole story.
