A wake is being held later today for the New York State trooper who was killed while responding to a domestic dispute in Jefferson County.
The viewing for Trooper Joel Davis is at Fort Drum at the Magrath Sports Complex. His funeral service is set for 1 p.m. tomorrow at the same location.
Davis was gunned down while responding to a domestic dispute last Sunday at a home in Theresa. The suspect, Army Staff Sergeant Justin Walters, is charged with killing the trooper after first murdering his own wife.
