State police have arrested a truck driver from Boulder, Colorado, following a dispute last week at the Pilot Travel Center in Steuben County.
Troopers allege that Robert Hewitt used a wooden tire-thumper to threaten another trucker who asked him to remove the noise coming from his sleeping berth.
Troopers say Hewitt appeared intoxicated and had been the subject of several other noise complaints at the travel center prior. He's charged with menacing and a weapon offense.
