Mathis Acquitted in Boys & Girls Club Shooting

Rochester, NY -- A Rochester jury has acquitted Michael Mathis off all charges in the killings of three men and the wounding of four others in the Boys and Girls Club mass shooting two years ago.

Deliberations began Wednesday afternoon and the not-guilty verdicts were delivered just before noon Thursday.

Shots were fired from a car on Genesee Street into a crowd leaving a basketball game in August 2015. Only one of the three co-defendants -- Johnny Blackshell -- was found guilty.

Co-defendant Jalen Everett was initially convicted, then cleared in a retrial in January after the conviction was thrown out.
