State University of New York Board Votes to Raise Tuition

SUNY students who don't qualify for free tuition will pay more this coming school year.

The SUNY board has voted to raise tuition by the maximum amount for students who have to pay for tuition. The vote will cost many students 200-dollars more a year starting this fall.

A new state law guarantees free tuition at SUNY for full-time students from families earning under $125,000 per year.
