Governor Cuomo Signs Bill Allowing Ridesharing Before July 4th Weekend

Ridesharing is just weeks away.

Governor Cuomo has signed a bill into law allowing companies such as Uber and Lyft to begin operating across Upstate New York before the July 4th weekend.

The services can now begin operating June 29th -- ten days earlier than planned in legislation that was approved earlier this year. Both companies have already begun recruiting drivers in the Rochester area.
