Sentencing is today for a Batavia mother whose 2-year-old twin sons died in a fire when they were left home alone one year ago this week.
Heather Ace pleaded guilty in February to a single charge of child endangerment. She had told police she locked her sons -- Micah and Michael Gard -- in their room when she left her house to by alcohol and marijuana.
The fire started in the boys' bedroom, though the exact cause was not determined.
