New York State Police are teaming up again with local law enforcement to enforce seat belt and child safety laws.
The new Click it or Ticket campaign runs today through Sunday June 4.
During last year’s campaign, Troopers and local law enforcement issued more than 28,000 adult and child safety restraint violations. In addition, New York is one of 24 states with seat belt checkpoints today along highways connecting neighboring states.
That effort will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight.
