Wegmans is awarding more than $5 million in scholarships to more than 2,000 employees who'll be attending college in the upcoming academic year.
Since the program began in 1984, more than 35,000 Wegmans employees have been awarded scholarships totaling $110 million.
Customers are invited to join in a celebration for this year’s scholarship recipients at all Wegmans stores with a piece of celebration cake at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
