The Buffalo Sabres have hired Jason Botterill to be the team’s General Manager.
Botterill joins the Sabres after spending the last 10 seasons as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins organization, where he helped shape the roster for the Stanley Cup Champion teams in 2009 and 2016.
Botterill also played in the Sabres organization -- with the Sabres and the Rochester Amerks.
He'll be introduced to the press at 4 p.m. today at KeyBank Center.
