Multi Vehicle Crash Reported in Town of Sweden

A Holley man required two doses of Narcan after authorities say he caused a three car crash in the town of Sweden.

Around noon today, the Monroe County Sheriff's office was called Lake Road, just south of the Village of Brockport after receiving calls about the crash.

They determined that 39-year-old Jason Thompson was driving his black pickup truck northbound on Route 19, from Route 31, when he rear ended two sepearate vehicles before swerving across the road, striking a southbound Chevy Cruz.

The truck continued across the road, jumped the curb and finally stopped when it struck the side of the Abbots Ice Cream Store.

The driver of the car, 28-year-old Jacob Daniels of Hamlin, was taken to Strong Hospital with a broken leg and other injuries.  His wife, and infant daughter were also taken to Strong as a precaution.

Thompson was found to be unconscious in his truck and was administered Narcan by an on-scene EMT.  He was given another dose while in the ambulance and became responsive. Thompson was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of drugs.
