Federal Judge Denies Request to Reduce Sentence Given to Dawn Nguyen

A federal judge has denied the latest request to reduce the sentence given to Dawn Nguyen -- the woman convicted of making the straw purchase of the guns used in the ambush that killed two West Webster firefighters in 2012.

She is serving an eight-year prison term for buying the guns used by parolee William Spengler in the Christmas Eve ambush.

The judge ruled Nguyen's latest motion essentially re-argued issues that were raised in her previous appeal of her sentence.
