Rochester City Council To Conduct Its Own Investigation Into Police Conduct

The Rochester City Council has voted unanimously to conduct its own investigation into the alleged police beating of teenager Rickey Bryant.

It's the first time in memory that the council has approved the use of subpoena power to investigate police conduct.

Police found no misconduct by officers, but Bryant's family says there was a cover-up.

Bryant suffered a broken eye socket and other injuries last August when he says officers knocked him off his bike and punched and kicked him.
