NASCAR Driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. Set To Retire

NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. is retiring at the end of the 2017 racing season. 

He is 42 and missed half of last season with a concussion. He has 26 career wins since 1999 and has been voted NASCAR's Most Popular Driver 14 consecutive years. 

He and team owner Rick Hendrick are expected to say more at a news conference this afternoon. 

Earnhardt's final NASCAR Cup Series race will be Nov. 19 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
