Rochester, NY -- The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is trying to find 44-year-old Cedrick Mitchell, a man who came recently to the Rochester area from Sarasota, Florida.
He is wanted for first-degree kidnapping and second-degree assault.
He allegedly held a woman against her will in a stolen Dodge Caravan Thursday night.
He is also wanted for an assault in Florida.
Deputies say he spent time in the van in recent days outside of 448 Hawley Street and 302 Adams Street. He was also at the Motel 6 on Buell Road.
The van was recovered Sunday near West Main Street in Rochester.
