Irondequoit Police Officer Accused of Harassing Ex-Girlfriend, Denied Bail

The Irondequoit police officer accused of harassing an ex-girlfriend for nearly a year was in federal court today for a bail hearing. 

William Rosica was denied bail. 

He is charged with stalking and unlawful access to a protected computer after authorities say he sent harassing text messages, phone calls and emails to the victim.

If found guilty he could see up to five years in prison, and a fine of up to a quarter million dollars. He is scheduled to be back in court on March 31st.
