A Palmyra man has been arrested on charges including an assault on a police officer, following a disturbance over the weekend at the Arrow Mart Store on North Main Street in Newark.
State police say Dwayne Woolfolk punched another man in the back of the head and was caught by a trooper as he tried to run away.
During the struggle, the trooper suffered a serious hand injury.
