Rochester firefighters rescued two people from a 19th Ward fire.
It broke out at around 3:30 yesterday at a home on Brooks Avenue, between Fairview Avenue and Gillette Street.
One victim was overcome by smoke, but is expected to recover.
A dog was killed.
There's no word on what sparked the fire.
