Rochester Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting that happened on Finch Street this fall.
Investigators say the incident occurred on September 18, when officers were called to a home where a woman in her 20s had been shot multiple times in the upper body while lying in bed.
Police allege 43-year-old Soraya Rodriguez climbed through a window and opened fire on the victim.
Rodriguez was taken into custody Tuesday during a traffic stop in Buffalo by U.S. Marshals.
She is charged with attempted murder, assault, burglary, and criminal possession of a weapon.
The victim survived the attack, and the case remains under investigation.
