A Webster sex offender is facing new child pornography charges.
Police say 40-year-old Geoffrey Hayes, formerly of Wayne County, is accused of possessing and distributing more than 14,000 images and videos on at least two phones.
Investigators say the tip came from a chat room operator who reported Hayes had sent 11 files through its servers.
Hayes was convicted of child porn possession charges in 2021.
